Mary tells the story of her life from a child living in suburban Melbourne to growing up in Mataranka NT and then life with Joe Groves, moving from station to station in search of work and raising 4 children practically single handed to running successful businesses. Always supporting her man. The matter of fact way that the author tells her story and the hardships endured along the way make for an interesting read. Thoroughly enjoyed this one and recommend.
