Why write a travel blog?
For a number of reasons.
Firstly, for my own benefit, to keep a record of my trip.
Secondly, to allow those family and friends that are interested, to keep in touch with what I am up to and where I am.
Thirdly, as a reference point for anyone else who is planning their own “Big Lap” of this vast land of ours. Over the past few months I have researched the internet for travel blog sites and am planning my trip with the help of information gleamed from others that have travelled before me. After all, why try to reinvent the wheel? If I can benefit from the experience of others then I am sure others in turn will benefit from mine.
