Bucket List #82 Travel The Great Ocean Road Vic

The Great Ocean Road is one of the iconic drives in Australia and was always going to be right up there on my bucket list. The 243km stretch of road hugs the coast from Torquay to Allansford.

The first day from Torquay to Apollo Bay was picture perfect weather wise. We had 2 nights at Apollo Bay followed by 1 night at Port Campbell and 2 nights at the end at Warrnambool.

The Great Ocean Road is rightly on most peoples bucket list and definitely did not disappoint. If the weather had of been a bit more comfortable we would have stayed a few more nights along the way.

Bells Beach. That’s me on the far left 😉
I made a new friend at Lorne

Marg and I did the Great Ocean road on our honeymoon in 1955. It was an adventure on dirt road at that time.
    Really enjoying your blog.
