The Devil’s Star by Jo Nesbo
I started this book back in April but only just finished it this month. Over 500 pages of intrigue. Tracking down a serial killer is the plot. The sub plots make for interesting reading. The author is a great story teller. Good reading.
Breathe by Tim Winton
A master writer is Mr Winton. He has the knack of slowing a storyline down to almost slow motion, giving the most minute details and stretching out a scene but in a way that it is not “padding”. Then he can move on in years simply by inserting a full stop and a new paragraph. Relatable.
